Emily Bartee

Emily brings a wealth of professional performance experience and a deep love for classical ballet to Luminous Dance Productions. As a company artist with South Carolina Ballet, she has performed corps de ballet and featured soloist roles in productions including The Nutcracker, Giselle, Romeo & Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Dracula: Ballet with a Bite, Motown Ballet, and Sapphire Gala.

Emily began dancing at the age of three and has trained extensively in ballet, partnering, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theater. Her classical training includes the Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre, where she was a member of the Junior Dance Company, as well as Dance Prism Ballet, where she performed numerous principal roles. She has also continued her education through prestigious summer intensives with Charlotte Ballet, Boston Ballet, and Ballet Rhode Island.

As an educator, Emily is passionate about helping dancers build strong technical foundations while discovering the confidence, discipline, and artistry that ballet inspires. She is honored to share her love of dance with the next generation and to help each student grow with grace, purpose, and joy.
